Summary: Excellent refurb. Not stayed for many years but a vast difference from the Golf Inn days. Only point might be its a bit pricey in the Stables restaurant.. Also need stronger coffee in the mornings - stick an extra spoon in the pot please!

Summary: I liked the little extra touches: The hot chocolate and biscuits left at our door on return to our room in the evening, the water and flapjacks when we checked out. The food was expensive but tasty. The breakfast was fantastic...best we've ever had at a hotel. Although not vegetarian, loved all the vegetarian options.
