Positive: Lovely hotel. Lovely quiet location. Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Relaxed dining in the bar. Lovely breakfast menu. Close to a lovely beach and very accessible to the links golf course. Gullane town is lovely.
Negative: The evening menu stayed the same for 3 nights . Would be nice to add 'specials' each evening. Vegetarian options were limited and the gnocchi on offer was a very small portion. It is possible to eat elsewhere in the town but handy to stay at the hotel after a busy day. There is also no lift and the stairs to the top floor are narrow and very steep. People do need to be made aware of this when booking.

Positive: The bar and restaurant were cosy and welcoming with stunning views. Staff were quick to welcome us and provide seating and menus. The dinner was exceptional. Steak cooked perfectly and fresh haddock battered in the kitchen.
