Summary: We stayed in this motel in early 2023. It was in terrible shape then. Now it has a new paint. It is scheduled to CLOSE on 20Apr2024. Best move. I can't believe Baymont would approve of anything there. The door wouldn't close, the lock was tricky to open, the room was very small, no luggage, a broken desk chair. etc.

Summary: The switch inside the entry door seemed to have no function. There was no soap dish, (the sink was very nice!) the bathroom door was stained and water damaged; areas, especially by the elevator, had peeling paint, the front trash receptacle was overflowing when we checked in and checked out. The staff was very nice, very friendly. The breakfast was not as good as other Baymonts we have stayed at.

Summary: It was a cozy place with elevator and steps, no smoking with a hundred dollar deposit forfeited if room was messed up. The breakfast was boiled eggs, waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal with milk, coffee, and bagels/muffins. No tea or lemon seen, pretty much a credible meal.

Summary: After reading the reviews, we were apprehensive to stay here. Once we got out of the car, we noticed a group of well dressed, put together individuals. While checking in, we overheard them discussing how this hotel is a place for unhoused people to stay during their transition to get back on their feet. Just an FYI. Beyond this, we received our keys and rode the kind-of-janky elevator to the third floor. We got into our room and did our inspection to ensure there were no cameras, bugs, etc. Thankfully, we saw nothing of the sort. However, we noticed our window cracked. Hotel windows aren't supposed to open. Needless to say, we used our luggage and the ironing board to ensure no one was able to come in while we slept. We did this both nights we stayed. The hotel is in the sort of ghetto. Not truly, but not super safe area either. I was just thankful we had a place to lay our heads at night and that there weren't bugs or cameras.

Summary: Had to call front desk with noise complaints 2 nights in a row. One at midnight and one at 2am. Both times it took 30 minutes to resolve. Also had issues with getting in my room. Had to wiggle the handle just right and apply pressure to the door as I was putting my card key in. The deadbolt didn’t work either. That’s a shame too, because the first time I stayed here was great. However, that was on the 3rd floor where the rooms are inside and everything looks more renovated . Would not advise staying on the 1st and 2nd floors.
